mother church
In Piazza Crispi stands the Mother Church of Campofranco dedicated to San Giovanni Evangelista. The Church erected in 1575 by order of Baron Giovanni del Campo, houses valuable objects inside, such as a baptismal font of undeniable beauty, an ancient tabernacle and an eighteenth-century wooden altar. At the center of the main altar we find the imperious wooden statue of the Madonna del Rosario, a work created in 1872 by the master Giuseppe Cardella of Girgenti.
Fountain of the Rebirth
Located in Piazza Vittorio Veneto is the circular fountain of the rebirth, a valuable work by the architect Vittorio Ziino. The fountain of rebirth has a bronze ring five meters in diameter on whose surface we can admire interesting bas-reliefs by the sculptor Giovanni Rosone.
